AJ Henderson, Food Service Director

Lawton Community Schools proudly welcomes AJ Henderson as our new Food Service Director.

Mr. Henderson is a 2013 graduate of Lawton High School and a 2018 Graduate of Baker College of Muskegon. He holds an Associate's Degree in Microsoft IT/Security as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Marketing.

Mr. Henderson developed a passion for nourishing youth when he volunteered and ultimately became employed as the Program Coordinator at Kids' Food Basket in Muskegon where he led a team of 250 volunteers to prepare and distribute "sack suppers" for 1,200 students daily. He took this passion and expertise to Lawrence Public schools where he served as food service director for the past four school years.

Lawton Community Schools takes pride in our longstanding tradition of a foodservice that focuses first on providing all students in the nutrition they need to suceed in school and beyond. We are proud to welcome Mr. Henderson home to take charge of this important program and lead our remarkable food service team in ensuring Lawton students get the nutrition they need each day!
