Ms. Ables recruited a special guest today to help with the complicated job of keeping track of the points in real time! See if you can spot the special guest!

LES celebrated this wonderful kitchen staff today for National Kitchen Staff Day! We are so thankful for the work they do each and every day!!

THANKS for all of the food donations that you sent in for the food drive! We had a team of leadership helpers who were in charge of organizing the food and loading the truck so we could give to families in need in our community. Thank you for your generosity!

Career Exploration.....

Pictures from Career Exploration Day!

Today Mrs. Visser's class had their first lesson about salmon from Mr. Weurding. The kids were excited to see the 150 salmon in the tank. They learned about how the hatcheries track salmon, what life stage they are currently in, why they need fins, and how big they will get. They are looking forward to going back next week Wednesday to learn more!

Thank you to our many presenters for Career Exploration today! Our TK and kindergartners got to learn about a Salon, veterinarian medicine, and from a pediatrician. Our first graders heard from a pharmacist, a florist, and a restaurateur. Second grade learned about beekeeping, nursing, and about being a librarian. Third grade learned about home health care, owning an electric company, and being a pharmacist. Fourth grade learned about EMS, sports management, owning a foundry, along with braces and retainers. Pictures and videos coming soon!!!

Our LES First Grade students blessed us with a terrific Thanksgiving parade!

A reminder to our families that this week we have full days of school on Monday and Tuesday. School is closed Wednesday through Friday and resumes on Monday, December 2nd. We wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving!

Excellent job by our 4th grade students in their Patriotic Music Program!
