Congratulations to Jack Fletcher for being awarded the Michigan High School Football Coaches Association (MHFCA) Scholar Athlete Award! This award recognizes student athletes who have a high GPA, SAT score, and being an all-state caliber player. This is one of the MHFCA's most prestigious awards due to the fact it is only awarded to two (2) individuals per division in the state of Michigan.

Attention Squirrel Bus Families:
The After school / PM trip for the Squirrel bus will be canceled Monday, November 10th. Unfortunately families have to make alternative plans to make sure their child is transported home from school. Families of Elementary students please communicate with your child’s teacher about how your child will be transported home.
If your family has significant circumstances and you cannot find an alternate option for afternoon transportation tomorrow you can contact our Transportation Director Jim Turner / jturner@lawtoncs.org and we can do our best to try and help.
We do apologize for the inconvenience of this change, we are continuing to attempt to obtain sub bus drivers in an effort to minimize the impact felt by our families. If you know of anyone who may be interested in learning to be a Bus Driver, please have them email jturner@lawtoncs.org.

We have a date for picture retakes. They will be on Wednesday, October 22nd.
Reminder to ALL high school families. Tomorrow (October 15) grades 9, 10, & 11 will be taking the PSAT from 8am to approximately 11:15am. Students need to have their fully-charged Chromebook as well as their Chromebook charger to take the test. Seniors have the first three hours off and need to report to school for Achievement at 11:30am.

Summer Food is AvaIlable!
Summer meals are available and free to any child or teen 18 and under. No application is required and parents may pick up meals on their children's behalf. Meals are healthy and follow the USDA Nutritition Guidelines.
The nearest meal sites this summer are Paw Paw Public Schools High School Cafeteria and Mattawan Schools.
