💻Chromebook / Schedule Pick Up
Families interested in picking up student chromebooks + schedules can join us on pick up days.
Monday Aug 18 (12-3) or Wednesday Aug 20 (5-7).

🤝Parent Professional Development Night.
Thursday August 21 (4:30-7)
A fresh take on a parent night - allows parents to choose sessions that best fit their needs.

✏ 25-26 Supply Lists ✏ In case you're catching some school supply deals - here are the supply lists for the 25-26 school year. Each grade level has listed out the supplies students need for their classes. Printable lists can be found on the LMS website under "Parents" *We'd encourage you to write your student's name on their folders/notebooks, but refrain from adding subjects. Some of the binders/folders are for specific subjects and that teacher will organize and label with them. #LMSPride

25–26 5th Grade Supply List for Lawton Middle School (Blue Devils). Personal supplies: Backpack or bag, (2) notebooks, colored pencils/crayons, pencils and pencil sharpener (note: may need to be replenished), zippered pencil pouch, (5) two-pocket folders (one each in blue, black, red, yellow, and green). Class supplies to share: hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, (2) boxes of tissues (note: may need to be replenished), (1) pack dry erase markers, (1) pack of 100 lined index cards, (1) pack colored copy paper or cardstock. Optional items: multiplication flash cards, 3-inch binder, over-ear headphones. School logo and colors (blue and gold) are included in the design."

✍Student Honor📜 Gabby, 8th grade, has earned a high honor in the "Poems that Ate Our Ears" contest from the Friends of Poetry (through the Kalamazoo Public Library). Gabby's original poem "Unspoken Truth" was declared a winner in their contest and has earned her a spot at their reading in the fall. On Sep. 27 Gabby will present her poem along with other winners/finalists. Additionally, her poem will be published in a book with the other winning poems.
