Lawton Community Schools honors the life and work of Mrs. Susan Douglas. Mrs. Douglas passed away Sunday, August 9. She started as an enthusiastic volunteer for Lawton Schools, later becoming a paraprofessional and a bus driver. In 2023, Mrs. Douglas was recognized as Lawton's Educational Hero. Our thoughts are with her family, friends, and colleagues as well as the many Lawton students who respected, trusted, and loved Mrs. Douglas. Information about arrangements may be found here.
