On August 4th 2026, voters of the Lawton Community School District will be asked to consider replacing the expiring, non-homestead operating millage, which the district has levied for many years. The proposal will allow Lawton Community Schools to continue to levy the statutory rate of not to exceed 18 mills on all property, except principal residence and other property exempted by law.
