Lawton Ecology Club

Lakes:
Lakes consist of some deep water where no rooted plants are able to grow. Many lakes are expansive; this means that wind can pile waves and debris against a shoreline. Plankton are found in the open water and there are countless amounts of microscopic organisms that call a lake home.
